Terry McGee is a 25-year seasoned franchise development veteran. He started in franchising in an Operations role and quickly moved into Franchise Development for some award-winning franchise brands. He’s previously worked with brands such as Best Life Brands, Huntington Learning Center, WIN Home Inspection, and House Doctors.
Terry is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their dreams of successful franchise ownership and values building strong relationships. He is devoted to maintaining the highest standards of integrity in all his endeavors. Throughout the years, Terry has guided thousands through the discovery process, enabling many to realize their aspirations of becoming successful entrepreneurs. After gaining extensive experience working directly with various brands and assisting others in becoming their own bosses, Terry chose to transition into consulting. This move allowed him to leverage his skills and experience to create his own business, helping others find the perfect franchise.

Terry is a born and raised Midwest boy. Growing up in a suburb of Detroit and a graduate of Central Michigan University. In his spare time, Terry is an avid golfer, cyclist, and sports fanatic. The list of favorite teams includes anything Detroit (Lions, Redwings, & Tigers), FC Cincinnati, Michigan State, and Manchester United. His claim to fame is at 12 years old he kicked a 30yd field at a Michigan Panthers football game in front of 40,000 people to win a TV.
He currently resides in Cincinnati, OH with his three kids, 2 dogs, and a cat.
I was raised in Rochester, MI, a suburb of Detroit, where I attended the same high school as my grandmother, parents, and uncles. In my younger years, I channeled my energy into sports, primarily focusing on soccer and baseball with aspirations of playing at the collegiate level.
Coming from a working-class family, I was just the second person in my family to pursue a college education. I initially enrolled at Central Michigan University with a focus on a business degree, but soon shifted my studies to Broadcast Management and Advertising.
Like many, I never planned to enter the franchise sector. I often say, “I stumbled into it and have never looked back.” I began my career in operations, assisting new franchises in launching and achieving profitability. Eventually, I transitioned into a development role, which I fell in love with. Now, I’m applying the advice I typically offer to others—building my own wealth and brand rather than doing it for someone else.
