Terry is a born and raised Midwest boy. Growing up in a suburb of Detroit and a graduate of Central Michigan University. In his spare time, Terry is an avid golfer, cyclist, and sports fanatic. The list of favorite teams includes anything Detroit (Lions, Redwings, & Tigers), FC Cincinnati, Michigan State, and Manchester United. His claim to fame is at 12 years old he kicked a 30yd field at a Michigan Panthers football game in front of 40,000 people to win a TV.
He currently resides in Cincinnati, OH with his three kids, 2 dogs, and a cat.
I was raised in Rochester, MI, a suburb of Detroit, where I attended the same high school as my grandmother, parents, and uncles. In my younger years, I channeled my energy into sports, primarily focusing on soccer and baseball with aspirations of playing at the collegiate level.
Coming from a working-class family, I was just the second person in my family to pursue a college education. I initially enrolled at Central Michigan University with a focus on a business degree, but soon shifted my studies to Broadcast Management and Advertising.
Like many, I never planned to enter the franchise sector. I often say, "I stumbled into it and have never looked back." I began my career in operations, assisting new franchises in launching and achieving profitability. Eventually, I transitioned into a development role, which I fell in love with. Now, I'm applying the advice I typically offer to others—building my own wealth and brand rather than doing it for someone else.
